Project Life 2014 | August Five - Video Overview

Monday, September 01, 2014

Happy long weekend, everyone!

Despite this weekend beginning on a bit of a rough note (after nearly three weeks I finally replaced the carafe to my coffee maker that I broke, only to drop the new one onto the floor not even one hour after buying it), I did something that I’ve wanted to do for a while now. I made a video!

This is for all those people who have asked me about my process. I detailed it here, but there's nothing quite like a visual, am I right?

I tried a lot of new things, and I really enjoyed the process... and the results! I loved putting this together, so I really hope you all enjoy it.

  1. I admire how brave you are - working on project life with red nails ... don't you get a lot of streaks? ;-) I always get them.

    1. Actually, that HAS happened to me before, but I guess i was lucky this time around. What I DID do in this video, however, was get black smudges from the concert on the neon yellow paper as I was gluing it on. BOO!

  2. love love love this video! And interesting to see how different people work on their projects. I don't touch my page protectors until I'm done with everything. :)
I'm gonna have my project life process up on the blog next Monday. Not with a cute video like this though.
Next video I want to hear your voice ;)

  5. Very cool & love seeing all the new stuff you're trying! Do you always do a spread in one sitting? I find myself stretching them out usually in about 3-4 sittings, though I suppose a big reason for that is because I don't print at home.

  7. Your video is perfection. Your process is perfection. Loved seeing you play, especially the sips of coffee. As I showed you via Whatsapp, I watched this while cutting photos for PL. Project Lifeception :)

You're amazing. Can't wait for the next one. With your voice.

  8. LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE THIS!

So, so glad you went through with this idea! I just watched this at my desk at work and was totally enthralled with it. I love seeing other people's processes and this absolutely did NOT disappoint.

Takeaways: your video skills are amazing, as is your taste in music; and I need to get myself that little glue thing, as well as a stapler that can "reach" further into a page than my tiny little mini desk stapler can.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!

  14. Love your process. I think it's funny everyone is asking to hear your voice. I think it would be nice too but I would love to know what song was playing and who was singing it.
